What the work involves

Day to day

Running brand presence and creator campaigns - content calendars, community management, identifying and briefing creators, and measuring what actually drove a result rather than what looked busy.

02

Who this suits

Fit

People who understand platforms natively and can also read data. Hiring is fast and entry barriers are low, and the influencer economy in India has grown into a substantial and professionalising industry.

03

The honest reality

Read this one

Platform algorithm changes can erase a strategy overnight and none of it is under your control. The work is always-on, and managing community response - including abuse - takes a real toll that employers rarely account for. Disclosure rules for paid partnerships are tightening and are frequently ignored in Indian practice, which puts you in the middle of a compliance question. Roles are often junior with a low ceiling unless you move toward broader marketing strategy.
