Fit

People who want a high-acuity speciality where interventions produce immediate, measurable change, and who can hold their nerve in an emergency. It is one of the most in-demand specialities in India given the burden of cardiac disease.

03

The honest reality

Read this one

Among the longest paths in medicine: MBBS, MD, then DM super-speciality, which routinely puts you in your early thirties before independent practice. Emergency call is frequent and cardiac emergencies do not wait. Cath lab work carries cumulative radiation exposure.
